Darren graduated from QUT with Honours in 2015 and won the Rod Grant Memorial Prize while completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) at QUT in 2016. He was then admitted into the legal profession as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Prior to joining the Hawkes Lawyers team in October 2016, Darren had gained many years of experience as a paralegal and graduate solicitor in the areas of family law, criminal law, wills & estates and property law.
Darren primarily practises in the areas of family law and criminal law. Having had his own personal experiences in the family law system, he is passionate about the role of solicitors in family law and firmly believes that in family law disputes there is no room for any other approach than always striving for the most efficient and practical resolution.
